What is the Manage Button for?

The Manage Button can be used to perform a variety of actions on a BigPurplePhone SilverFox Edition as follows:
  1. adjust phone settings [Auto Speaker, BigPurpleTalk, Icon size, Number of recent calls (0,3,6), Safe Callers List, Select to Speak]
  2. add/delete Apps [up to 5 out of 30 available  with or without PIN]
  3. add/delete/edit Contacts
  4. show/hide Menu Buttons [Bluetooth, Camera, Help, Manage, Photos, Radio, SOS/Emergency, Vaccination Certificate, Video Calling, Weather, WiFi]
  5. add/delete Music Stations [Classic Vinyl, Golden Days, Hope, Non Stop Oldies, Soul, The Beatles]
  6. add/delete Radio Stations
  7. add/delete/edit [Birthdays & Anniversaries plus Reminders (daily/weekly)}
  8. Find My Phone - View map of BigPurplePhone's location

Instructions for Manage Feature

If you don’t have a Carer set up, and you manage your own BigPurplePhone, then the Manage button will be enabled by default so that you can access your Settings from the home screen of the BigPurplePhone.

You can also DISABLE the Manage button by toggling it off. When you do this, the Manage button is removed from the BigPurplePhone. Once you disable this, the only way to get it back is to login to the Carer’s website from another device.

Some people prefer to use a web browser to Manage their BigPurplePhone because it may be larger and easier to see and use on a desktop for example.

Carers can enable or disable this button so that the Manage button does not appear on the BigPurplePhone. This is ideal for Loved Ones who are easily confused by Phone Settings.
