How do I Add/Change/Delete a PIN on WebApps?

There is an option to set a PIN for specific Web Apps on the BigPurplePhone SilverFox and SilverFox+ Editions using the 'Manage' feature, adding an extra layer of security if you choose.

If you have WebApps on your BigPurplePhone, you may add a PIN to those with a Padlock symbol to improve security.

Setting a PIN on a Web App

   1.    Scroll down to the Web App you want to secure


   2.  
Tap on the green Padlock icon next to the App you want to secure - we selected Facebook.

            

    3.  A popup window appears so you can enter a 4 digit PIN

















    4. We've entered '9876' below:



    5. Press "Submit" button and the Padlock will turn red indicating the PIN is now required to access the selected App



Changing or Removing the PIN


    1. For individual Apps, scroll down and tap on the red Padlock next to Web App



    2. A message flashes on the screen indicating the PIN was removed


    3. The Padlock turns green, as follows:







    4. If you want to update or remove the PIN for all Web Apps, tap on the purple “Update PIN” button:



    5. The following popup window appears, showing the exisiting PIN:




    6. Use the backspace to delete the PIN or change the PIN

    7. Either enter a new PIN or tap on the words “Remove PIN”

    8. Tap “Submit”

    9. If the PIN was updated, the following message appears:


    10.  If "Remove PIN" was chosen, the PIN will be cleared and the following message appears:
