Someone is calling me but can't get through to my BigPurplePhone. What is wrong?

If someone is calling you and you are not receiving their calls or the calls go to voicemail, after checking they have the correct number for your BigPurplePhone, check the following items.

  1. Check that the handset is turned on - see Figure 1

  2. Is the battery charged? - see Figure 2

  3. Is your SIM card activated?
    If you have a BigPurpleSIM, we activate it on despatch.
    If you are using your own SIM, check with your provider.

  4. Check that your phone has mobile connectivity by looking for the triangle symbols at the top of the screen in Figure 2

a. Holding the lowest button will turn the handset power On or Off
b. Tap the button to turn the screen On or Off
