How to Determine if Safe Callers Is Enabled:

Check your device to confirm whether this feature is active - How do I know if I have the Safe Callers List enabled? - If it is, please verify that all necessary contacts are saved on your phone to avoid inadvertently missing important calls or messages.

Important Information for Previous iPhone Users

If you are using your loved one’s existing SIM card and they previously used an iPhone, it is necessary to unregister from iMessage to prevent disruptions in message delivery.

You can do this by following one of the two methods below:

Method 1: Using the iPhone

  1. Insert your SIM card back into the iPhone.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Messages and turn iMessage OFF.

  3. Then go to Settings > FaceTime and turn FaceTime OFF.

Method 2: Without the iPhone

  1. Visit https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage.

  2. Scroll to the section titled “No longer have your iPhone?”

  3. Enter your phone number.

  4. You will receive a confirmation code via SMS.

  5. Enter the code on the website to complete the de-registration process.

Why can my BigPurplePhone make calls, but someone on our Safer Caller List cannot call in?

This issue may be caused by the "Shortcut to Prevent Ringing" feature being enabled. To check and disable this setting, please follow the steps below:

  2. Tap the three dots on the volume control panel.

  3. Select the Settings icon located at the bottom left of the screen.

  4. Locate the "Shortcut to Prevent Ringing" option.

  5. Turn off the "Shortcut to Prevent Ringing" setting.
