How do I edit or delete a Contact on the BigPurplePhone?

For a contact on the BigPurplePhone SilverFox or SilverFox+ Editions, it is necessary to use the Manage feature to edit or delete an existing contact. If the Loved One does not have the Manage button on their BigPurplePhone, they will need to go to the Carers Portal at manage.bigpurplephone.com on a computer or tablet else their Carer will need to update the contact.

  1. After either pressing the Manage  button or going to the Carers Portal at manage.bigpurplephone.com (after logging in with the credentials you created in the Carers Portal), scroll down to the Contacts area:


  2. Click on the Manage button adjacent to the Contacts icon and the following screen will appear:



  3. Click on the contact you want to edit or delete, we chose Bill Bloggs so the next screen appears:



  4. You can update their name, email, phone number or their role here then press Update and a pop up in the top right corner will confirm the operation was successful:



  5. If you click on Delete, their details will be removed from the Loved Ones contact list.



BigPurplePhone Talk&Text

For a contact on BigPurplePhone Talk&Text Edition, you will need to select the contact and edit  then click Save or select the contact then press Delete to remove that contact.
