How do I import Contacts to the BigPurplePhone?
BigPurplePhone SilverFox edition
Yes, with a BigPurplePhone SilverFox edition you can upload contacts however, we recommend that you enter the Contacts individually
for a few reasons:
- We suggest you clean up the Contacts as long lists
and duplicates are disorienting for vulnerable people.
- While there is no limit to how many contacts you
can add to the BigPurplePhone, we
recommend a list not much bigger than 30 contacts.
- Because the Contacts List is visual, with each
Contact having a photo, we suggest taking the time to make this as usable as
possible for your child or loved one with nice clear images of their Contacts.
You can choose faces, colours, patterns or logos. It’s up to you and what your
loved one will find easy to see and understand.
- You will need to setup Emergency Contacts, enter
Photos and send invites to the App to the family and friends you choose. By the
time you have done this, you might as well type their name and number in.
However, some users may be more capable, and comfortable having all their previous contacts imported onto their BigPurplePhone. In which case, this is how to add all previous contacts in one upload:
1. Under Contacts in the manage settings, there is an option to Add Contacts.
3. Once filled out, simply download the completed spreadsheet and import the contacts.
